I had waited for the Bionic for a while. I had the original Droid (2 days after it was released) and, overall, loved it. Unfortunately, it was slowing down as I did more and more with it and I needed something with more power. The Bionic is a ridiculously fast phone! Nothing I've done with it has made it slow down--even a little. It's dual-core processing makes the phone itself super fast. The 4G makes the connection stupid fast. It's just a super fast phone. Call quality has been nothing short of exceptional. Never had a problem with it. Crystal clear on both ends. I'd say I really do wish the speaker phone were a tad louder but it's nothing you can't deal with. People complain about the screen--and I see what they're complaining about--however, I have no complaints about the screen. It's the 2nd-best screen I've seen on a phone (the Samsung screens are better). I can't complain about it to be honest with you. The camera--as with all Moto phones it seems--still needs some work. Not sure why Motorola can't seem to get the camera right. I'm not expecting DSLR performance but I'd like a phone which can focus quicker and get the shot. The quality--once it takes a photo--is good enough for a cell phone (could be a bit better as contrast is a bit low) though. I don't much care for a lot of the software Verizon stuck on the phone. Not a huge deal, however, but it is a bit annoying. I wish Moto had not messed with the storage and how it's classified within the phone. Because of the way they did it on the Bionic, apps like App2SD cause problems. It's also a bit confusing to get things onto the add-on 16GB SD card which comes installed in the phone. I also wonder why on Earth they included a 16GB SD card rather than a 32GB card. I realize it's a margin thing for Moto, however, this is a top-of-the-line phone and should come with top-of-the-line storage. A 16GB SD card just doesn't cut it. Overall, I'm quite pleased with my Bionic. I use it all of the time and it just goes...FAST. It is (by far) my favorite phone I've had yet.

Battery dies way too quickly. That's really my only complaint.

When I asked about getting a replacement I was told I would have to contact the manufacturer, which I found as a huge inconvience.

This phone sucks. My Droid x had a faster internet connection and was far less glitchy. Yes the bionic is 4g, but it's reception is terrible. In DC I never ever have full 4g connectivity. The Droidg X seemed faster more of the time. The bionic has pooped out tons of times where I've had to turn it on and off for it to "find" a 3g/4g network. It just stopped working altogether and I had to remove/reinstall the battery to get it to turn back on again. It feels fragile and not very durable at all due to the cheap back plate. This phone is bad. I wish I'd never switched. Battery life is awful.
